Disabling Sharing in LimeWire

1. Click the "Tools" menu, then select "Options..."   

2. Select the "Sharing" option on the left side. Delete everything in the entry boxes labelled "Directories" and "Extensions".
   

3. Select the "Uploads" option on the left side, then set the number of maximum uploads to 0 and the percentage of bandwidth devoted to uploads to 0%.
   

4. Click the "OK" button.

5. If you are prompted to add the save directory to your list of shared directories, click No.
