Disabling Sharing in Aimster

1. On the Aimster Control Panel, click the "Player" button.
   

2. Click the first folder on the left ("Audio") and look at the media files shown to the right. Notice that each file has a path associated with it. Make a note of each unique path that you see. In the example given below, the only unique path is "C:\My Documents\My Music".
   

3. Repeat step 2 for each folder on the left side of the window.

4. Click the "File" menu, then choose "Remove a Directory."

5. Navigate to the first path you noted in step 2, then click the OK button.
      

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have removed all the paths you noted earlier.

When you are finished, there should be no files shown in any of the Aimster media folders. Your files have not been deleted; they are just no longer being shared with other Aimster users.
