The following information assumes that you are already an AOL subscriber and have AOL 3.0 installed on your computer. The University of Alabama does not provide support for AOL software or service. You are still responsible for any subscription fees charged by AOL; this is separate from your ResNet service and fees.
The following procedure will set your AOL 3.0 software to use your ResNet connection:
You can now sign on normally. You won't need to follow this procedure again.
If this is your own AOL account, you may want to look into AOL's "Bring Your Own Access" billing plan. This reduces your cost to $14.95 per month as long as you do not dial in to AOL's service. Please see AOL Pricing Plans at AOL.com for more information.
