If you live in select on-campus housing, computer network connection services are now available. With these services, you will be able to sit at your own computer in your own room and connect to the Residential Hall Network (ResNet); to the University's campus network; and to the Internet. Having your computer connected to the network means you can use those services at any time. You don't need to tie up the telephone to use the Internet, you don't have to wait on a slow modem connection, and you never get a busy signal. Your computer will have the same network connection speed that most PC labs on campus have, and you can use it at your own convenience. |
